I am going to ROME!!!
My cousin, Lindsey, is going to be studying abroad this semester in Rome, Italy. Her mother and sister (my Aunt and cousin) told me they were planning a trip to see her over Thanksgiving. I asked if I could go along and I am. My sister-in-law Amber is going to so it is a family affair.
We have booked our flights and we leave out of Evansville on Friday, November 20th and we return Sunday, November 29th. This is perfect timing since school will be out for most of the week I only have to take 2 days off. I'm sure it will be a fun and exhausting week, but well worth it. While in South Africa I heard many of my fellow volunteers talk about Rome and how beautiful it is. I knew I wanted to go there someday and now I am. I am also sooo excited for my cousin Lindsey who will be leaving for Rome on Sept. 22nd. I know she is going to have an amazing time.
